I'm Rachel, the founder of The Confused Millennial (TCM), millennial blog consultant / coach, and Forbes contributing writer.

#TCMillennial is a community for confused millennials to embrace who we truly are while learning and growing together. I highly encourage readers to reach out, request a post, or ask me anything. The goal with TCM is to help other confused millennials navigate this whole  #adulting thing (finance, career, business, etc.) while still captivating what fuels our soul (Netflix, traveling, and living that Instagrammable lifestyle). Think of it as your perfect place for balancing work & life, adulting & chilling, and personal & professional growth.

The content on here is designed to be real and let you know you aren't alone.

We are going to figure out how to live a balanced, purposeful, and fulfilling life together.

My story in a nutshell:

I went to college, got my degree – went to grad school, got another degree – landed my dream job earning almost 10k more per year than colleagues that had been there for two years – only to feel totally miserable. Sounds messed up, right?

I fell into a full on quarter life crisis, and felt completely lost when it came to my future.

In fact, I was such a Debbie Downer that I got fired for being so miserable to work with. Always the Type-A overachiever, the day I got fired, I landed a new job… only to get fired again three weeks later.

>>> Read how I got fired twice in a month here. <<<

After that I spent way too many hours watching Netflix, chowing down on good #eeeeeats (if you're a foodie not familiar with this # I seriously encourage you to hop over to Instagram and check it out!), and in a tailspin freaking out about what I am doing with my life.

*Okay, maybe I still do all of those things over three years later*

BUTTTT, between Netflix and pizza binges, I decided to start TCM to help all the other Netflix junkies, hopped up on caffeine, try to figure out this whole “adult” thing with me.

I made a lot of mistakes in my twenty-something years and I have looked at each of them as an opportunity to learn a life lesson and grow. I hope this blog inspires readers to do the same and find a community of other confused millennials to cheer them on.

Still wondering what I'm confused about? Check out this post on the meaning behind my blog name.
