Tips for millennial traveling in the United States and abroad, travel guides, and more.

Exploring Utah

During a recent trip to Utah I had the chance to explore Big Cottonwood, Salt Lake City, Park City, and so much more! We were there on Pioneer Day for the Days of 47 Celebration. Pioneer Day is when the Mormon pioneers arrived in Salt Lake Valley on July 24th, 1847 (which I think is why they call it days of '47) after many had tried, failed, and died in the previous attempts. It's a major state holiday.

Exploring Muir Woods, Mt. Tamalpais, & Sausalito

Muir Woods is a National Park on Mount Tamalpais near the Pacific coast, in southwestern Marin County, California. It protects 240 acres of old growth coast redwood (Sequoia) forests. Sausalito is a San Francisco Bay Area city also in Marin County, California. Sausalito was developed as a shipbuilding center in World War II. Post war the city has grown a picturesque residential community with a large number of houseboats, and a tourist destination.  - The confused millennial

Hiking to the Hollywood Sign

Do you want to hike to the Hollywood sign? The confused millennial shares experience of Hiking to the Hollywood sign and California adventure travels. Travel Blog. Travel Tips. California dreaming

I am a TV and movie junkie. I have always been obsessed with the idea of moving to California, not necessarily LA, but definitely SoCal, and seeing the Hollywood sign in person was definitely on my bucket list.

I was so excited and wanted to get as close as possible, so I headed over to my college friends travel blog to learn how they did it (seriously check it out, they got SO close!).

I knew I couldn’t sit in the “O” but there was something magical about walking the same path as Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in Friends with Benefits.

Exploring Venice, California

#Wanderlusting- Exploring the Venice Canals, California - the confused millennial, millennial blog

I was about 8 or 9 years old when the Olsen Twins released a movie called Billboard Dad (who else remembers this gem??) and I became obsessed with moving to California… more specifically Venice… okay that’s actually a lie… I was already obsessed with moving to California from the moment I watched Full House years …

Topanga Canyon State Park

Spending a day in the Santa Monica Mountains gives you a lot of hiking options. I really wanted to explore what my friends say is the best hike, Sandstone Peak, but decided to go with Topanga Canyon's Los Leones trail up to the Parker Mesa Overlook followed by lunch at Malibu Farms on the Malibu Pier.  - The Confused Millennial
