hey friend!

I'm Rachel! Founder of TCM, former mental health and substance abuse counselor turned confused millennial mom!

I started watching babies at 13 years old. By the time I was 20, I'd watched more babies, toddlers, and young children than I can even remember. While earning my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida I worked with autistic children as a research assistant.

Afterwards, I earned my M.Ed where I continued to learn about early childhood development while working with adolescents and young adults as a mental health counselor.

I knew I wanted to be a mom, but I also knew how much went into raising children… I was scared to have kids and also scared to get pregnant.

All of those fears fell away while I was pregnant… For the first time in my life, I finally felt like I was whole. I ended up having the most amazing experience being pregnant and you can read about my positive natural birth story in hospital here!

The Confused Mom is a community for millennial moms looking for honest real talk like mom confessions, parenting tips, and mom hacks.

+ I'm sharing all my must have items for a baby registry, breastfeeding must haves, and the best montessori toys for newborns to 2-year olds so you don't need to stress yourself out researching any more!

So throw on your least sexy loungewear, cozy up in your fave chair, + let’s chat because this momming thing can feel a little lonely and overwhelming sometimes!

xx Rachel
